I am Tsai, Yi-Yun, an undergraduate student in the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University. I have previously worked on analyses related to the evolution of feeding habits in Coleoptera. Currently, I am experimenting with artificial diet additives to evaluate their effects on the life cycle and growth of the diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella). I hope that the results of this research can be applied to other phytophagous insects in the future.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing, often sketching insects and other creatures I like. I also love keeping various arthropods and reptiles, as taking care of them is simply relaxing and fun. I enjoy playing music as well, especially the cello and guitar, which help me unwind.
