My name is Jhe-Wei, Ye. I’m an undergraduate student in the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University. I’m currently focusing on methods for quantifying animal body patterns, particularly longitudinal stripes, and on exploring the relationship between pattern variation and the presence of Poaceae plants in animal habitats. I’m also fond of systematics, ecology, and evolution of several Orthoptera insects, including grasshoppers and katydids. I enjoy observing and rearing insects, visiting aquariums, and playing piano in my free time.
